How it works

How a bathroom remodeling job runs

  1. Step 1: Tell us what's wrong

Call or send the form with a photo of the bathroom remodeling job. We ask the questions that change the price.

  2. Step 2: Walkthrough and written scope

We look at it in person and send a written scope with a price before any work starts.

  3. Step 3: Scheduled crew, fixed date

You get a date, a time window and the name of the person coming.

  4. Step 4: Photo-documented finish

Before and after photos, a clean site, and the 1-year workmanship warranty on all labor (SAMPLE — pending legal review).

    Houzz

SAMPLE review — Our primary bath in Frisco had a cracked tub surround and a vanity coming apart at the seams. AMAC took it down to the studs, built a walk-in shower with large-format tile and set a new double vanity. They told us up front that the plumbing would go to their licensed partner, and that work sat in the same written scope. Permit and inspections were on the schedule from day one. Four weeks start to finish, and the two small punch items from the final walkthrough were fixed within two days.

FAQ

Bathroom Remodeling questions

Can you turn my tub into a walk-in shower?

Yes. We remove the tub, our licensed plumbing partner moves the drain and valve, and we build, waterproof and tile the shower. On the walk-through we check the drain location and the floor, so you know what the conversion involves before you commit.

How do you keep a new shower from leaking?

Tile and grout are not waterproof. The protection is a membrane behind the tile and under the pan, and we test the pan before tile goes down. That step is what keeps water out of the wall and the room below.

How long will the bathroom be out of service?

Most bathrooms take 2–4 weeks once tile and fixtures are on site, and we order those before demolition. If it is your only shower, tell us up front and we will plan the sequence to keep the downtime as short as we can.

Who does the plumbing and electrical work?

Our licensed partners: TSBPE-licensed plumbers and TDLR-licensed electricians. They handle valve and drain moves, new circuits, exhaust fans and lighting. We coordinate them, so you get one schedule and one point of contact.

What if you find rot or mold behind the wall?

It happens in older bathrooms, especially around tubs. We stop, show you photos and give you a written change order and price before doing extra work. Minor rot we repair. Larger mold problems go to a remediation company first.

Are estimates free?

Yes. Estimates are free across our DFW service area. Small repairs can often be priced from photos. Larger jobs get a walkthrough. Either way you get a written scope and price before work starts, and nothing begins until you approve it.

Why don't you list prices on the website?

Two jobs with the same name rarely cost the same. A ceiling patch in Plano and one in Fort Worth can differ in size, texture, access and paint match. We would rather see your job and give you a real number in writing than post a range that does not fit it.

Will the final price match the estimate?

The written price covers the written scope. If we open a wall and find something the scope did not cover, like rot, a failed pipe or damaged framing, we stop, send you photos and write up a change order. Nothing extra happens without your sign-off.
