What Frisco calls us for

Frisco is mostly post-2000 build-out: production homes from large builders, many still on their original finishes. Builder-grade paint, carpet, laminate counters and basic fixtures are the usual upgrade targets, along with patio covers and outdoor kitchens. Once the builder warranty runs out, newer homes also need the small fixes: drywall nail pops, caulk pulling away at tubs and windows, and doors that need adjusting.

SAMPLE review — Our primary bath in Frisco had a cracked tub surround and a vanity coming apart at the seams. AMAC took it down to the studs, built a walk-in shower with large-format tile and set a new double vanity. They told us up front that the plumbing would go to their licensed partner, and that work sat in the same written scope. Permit and inspections were on the schedule from day one. Four weeks start to finish, and the two small punch items from the final walkthrough were fixed within two days.

Frisco FAQ

Permits, HOAs and homes in Frisco

Frisco expects permits for most remodel, structural, electrical, plumbing and mechanical work, and patio covers and fences are reviewed too, with height and setback rules. Nearly every Frisco subdivision is HOA-governed, and the architectural committee usually signs off on exterior colors, fences, patio covers and outdoor kitchens. We pull or coordinate permits where required and build the HOA package with you, so approval comes before the crew does.

Does a patio cover in Frisco need a permit and HOA approval?

In most cases, both. Attached patio covers and outdoor kitchens with gas or electrical work go through the city's permit review, and most Frisco HOAs want plans, materials and colors before you build. We prepare the drawings and specs, coordinate the permit, and wait for the HOA's approval before starting.

My Frisco home is only a few years old. What do you usually fix?

Newer production homes have their own list: nail pops and drywall seams, caulk that has pulled away at tubs and windows, doors that need adjusting, and builder-grade paint that does not wash well. Many owners also replace carpet and laminate counters or upgrade light fixtures and hardware.

How long does it take you to get to Frisco?

About 15 minutes from our Plano base, outside rush hour. Tollway and SH 121 traffic can stretch that at peak times. We reply to requests in under 15 minutes during business hours and set an estimate visit that fits your schedule.

Do you cover the Denton County side of Frisco?

Yes. Frisco runs across the Collin and Denton county line, and we work in both halves of the city. The county does not change how we quote or schedule, and your permit goes through the City of Frisco either way.

What areas do you serve?

Collin, Dallas, Denton, Tarrant and Rockwall counties, within about 45 minutes of our Plano base. That covers Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Denton, Carrollton, Garland and Rockwall.

What if my property is outside your area?

Send the request anyway. We still take it. If the job is too far out or is not work we do, we tell you quickly and refer you to someone who can do it.

Can you cover properties in more than one DFW city?

Yes. Investors and property managers often have units spread across Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties. We group visits by area to cut drive time, and you get one point of contact and one set of photo reports for the whole portfolio.
