How it works

How a whole-home renovation job runs

  1. Step 1: Tell us what's wrong

Call or send the form with a photo of the whole-home renovation job. We ask the questions that change the price.

  2. Step 2: Walkthrough and written scope

We look at it in person and send a written scope with a price before any work starts.

  3. Step 3: Scheduled crew, fixed date

You get a date, a time window and the name of the person coming.

  4. Step 4: Photo-documented finish

Before and after photos, a clean site, and the 1-year workmanship warranty on all labor (SAMPLE — pending legal review).

SAMPLE review — We wanted our west Plano kitchen to feel new without moving anything. AMAC painted the cabinets, swapped the hardware, installed quartz counters and set a subway tile backsplash. The written scope listed every item and the price before anyone touched a cabinet door. Photos came at the end of each day, so we knew where things stood while we were at work. When the counter install slipped two days, they told us that morning, not after. Done in 16 working days, and the kitchen was clean every evening.

SAMPLE review — Our primary bath in Frisco had a cracked tub surround and a vanity coming apart at the seams. AMAC took it down to the studs, built a walk-in shower with large-format tile and set a new double vanity. They told us up front that the plumbing would go to their licensed partner, and that work sat in the same written scope. Permit and inspections were on the schedule from day one. Four weeks start to finish, and the two small punch items from the final walkthrough were fixed within two days.

FAQ

Whole-Home Renovation questions

Can you renovate a house I am not living in yet?

Yes. Empty houses are often faster to renovate because we can work several rooms at once. We send photos at each stage, so you can follow the job from anywhere, and you get an update whenever the schedule changes.

Do you work with investors and landlords?

Yes. We write scopes that separate must-fix items from upgrades, so you can decide what fits your budget and your rent or resale target. Rentals get durable finishes that are cheap to repair. Flips get finishes that suit the neighborhood.

Can I live in the house during the renovation?

Sometimes. We can phase the work so you keep a working bathroom and a place to cook, but the job takes longer that way. On the walk-through we will tell you honestly whether staying put makes sense for your scope.

Who handles the plumbing, electrical and HVAC?

Our licensed partners: TSBPE-licensed plumbers and TDLR-licensed electrical and HVAC contractors. We coordinate their work with the permits and inspections, so you have one point of contact for the whole house.

What happens if you find problems once the walls are open?

We stop and show you photos. Old wiring, rot and slow leaks behind walls are common in older DFW homes. You get a written change order with a price before any extra work happens, so the budget never moves without your sign-off.

Are estimates free?

Yes. Estimates are free across our DFW service area. Small repairs can often be priced from photos. Larger jobs get a walkthrough. Either way you get a written scope and price before work starts, and nothing begins until you approve it.

Why don't you list prices on the website?

Two jobs with the same name rarely cost the same. A ceiling patch in Plano and one in Fort Worth can differ in size, texture, access and paint match. We would rather see your job and give you a real number in writing than post a range that does not fit it.

Will the final price match the estimate?

The written price covers the written scope. If we open a wall and find something the scope did not cover, like rot, a failed pipe or damaged framing, we stop, send you photos and write up a change order. Nothing extra happens without your sign-off.
