How it works

How a handyman repairs job runs

  1. Step 1: Tell us what's wrong

Call or send the form with a photo of the handyman repairs job. We ask the questions that change the price.

  2. Step 2: Walkthrough and written scope

We look at it in person and send a written scope with a price before any work starts.

  3. Step 3: Scheduled crew, fixed date

You get a date, a time window and the name of the person coming.

  4. Step 4: Photo-documented finish

Before and after photos, a clean site, and the 1-year workmanship warranty on all labor (SAMPLE — pending legal review).

SAMPLE review — We had a list of eleven small things around our house in Allen that had been piling up for a year: two sticking doors, a loose stair rail, cabinet hinges, caulk around both tubs and a side gate that would not latch. One tech, one day, every item checked off. He sent a photo of each fix before he left. Booking it took about ten minutes by text.

FAQ

Handyman Repairs questions

Is there a minimum charge for a small job?

There is a trip minimum for a single small fix. Most people save up a list, and we do all of it in one visit, which is cheaper per item. The estimate is free either way.

Can you work through my whole list in one visit?

Usually, yes. Send the list with a photo of each item. We plan the visit around it, bring the right parts and tell you up front if anything needs a second trip.

Do you bring the parts and materials?

We bring common hardware, fasteners, caulk and patch materials. If you want a specific fixture or finish, you can buy it or we can pick it up. The written scope says who supplies what.

Can you handle plumbing or electrical items on my list?

Anything that needs a licensed plumber or electrician goes to our licensed partners. We schedule it alongside the rest of your list, so you still deal with one company for all of it.

How soon can someone come out?

Call or send a photo and you get a response in under 15 minutes during business hours. We then book an arrival window that works for you and show up in it.

Are estimates free?

Yes. Estimates are free across our DFW service area. Small repairs can often be priced from photos. Larger jobs get a walkthrough. Either way you get a written scope and price before work starts, and nothing begins until you approve it.

Why don't you list prices on the website?

Two jobs with the same name rarely cost the same. A ceiling patch in Plano and one in Fort Worth can differ in size, texture, access and paint match. We would rather see your job and give you a real number in writing than post a range that does not fit it.

Will the final price match the estimate?

The written price covers the written scope. If we open a wall and find something the scope did not cover, like rot, a failed pipe or damaged framing, we stop, send you photos and write up a change order. Nothing extra happens without your sign-off.
