How it works

How a interior painting job runs

  1. Step 1: Tell us what's wrong

Call or send the form with a photo of the interior painting job. We ask the questions that change the price.

  2. Step 2: Walkthrough and written scope

We look at it in person and send a written scope with a price before any work starts.

  3. Step 3: Scheduled crew, fixed date

You get a date, a time window and the name of the person coming.

  4. Step 4: Photo-documented finish

Before and after photos, a clean site, and the 1-year workmanship warranty on all labor (SAMPLE — pending legal review).

SAMPLE review — I own two rentals in McKinney and needed a three-bedroom turned between tenants in under a week. They walked the house the day I reached out, sent a written scope that afternoon and started two days later. Full interior paint, LVP in the bedrooms, new blinds, a running toilet handled by their plumbing partner, and a punch list of small repairs. Before and after photos of every room landed in my inbox. The house was listed on day six.

SAMPLE reply — Thanks for approving the scope the same day. A turn in under a week only works when the owner can sign off fast, and you did. We kept the paint colors and the LVP spec from this house on file, so your second rental can be scoped from the same list. — AMAC

SAMPLE review — A leak from an upstairs bathroom left a stained, sagging patch in our Richardson living room ceiling. They cut it out, hung new drywall, matched the knockdown texture and repainted the whole ceiling. They answered fast and the price matched the written estimate. One star off because the first texture pass was a little heavy near the light fixture. They came back the next week, redid it at no charge, and now you cannot find the patch.

    AMAC replied

SAMPLE reply — Thank you for letting us come back. The first knockdown pass near the fixture was too heavy, and we should have caught it at the walkthrough. We now check texture under the room's own lighting, with the lights on and off, before we call a ceiling done. — AMAC

SAMPLE review — We had a list of eleven small things around our house in Allen that had been piling up for a year: two sticking doors, a loose stair rail, cabinet hinges, caulk around both tubs and a side gate that would not latch. One tech, one day, every item checked off. He sent a photo of each fix before he left. Booking it took about ten minutes by text.

FAQ

Interior Painting questions

Do I need to move my furniture before you paint?

No. We move furniture to the middle of the room, cover it and mask the floors. We ask you to take down art, photos and anything fragile, and we handle the rest.

Do you supply the paint, or can I pick it?

You pick the colors. We can buy the paint or use paint you already have. The written scope lists the product and sheen for each surface so there are no surprises.

How many coats do you put on?

Enough to cover evenly. A refresh in a similar color is usually two coats. Going from a dark color to a light one, or painting over patches, takes a primer coat first. The scope says which.

Do you fix nail holes and cracks before painting?

Yes. Nail holes, dings, nail pops and small cracks are filled, sanded and spot-primed before paint goes on. Larger drywall damage is quoted as drywall repair so you know the cost up front.

Can I stay in the house while you paint?

Yes. We work room by room, keep walkways clear and can use low-odor paint if you ask. Most people go about their day around us.

Are estimates free?

Yes. Estimates are free across our DFW service area. Small repairs can often be priced from photos. Larger jobs get a walkthrough. Either way you get a written scope and price before work starts, and nothing begins until you approve it.

Why don't you list prices on the website?

Two jobs with the same name rarely cost the same. A ceiling patch in Plano and one in Fort Worth can differ in size, texture, access and paint match. We would rather see your job and give you a real number in writing than post a range that does not fit it.

Will the final price match the estimate?

The written price covers the written scope. If we open a wall and find something the scope did not cover, like rot, a failed pipe or damaged framing, we stop, send you photos and write up a change order. Nothing extra happens without your sign-off.
